LED Light Therapy

LED light therapy is a minimally-invasive treatment aimed at reducing inflammation, boosting cell regeneration, and reinvigorating the skin. Perfect for those struggling with dull, tired, ageing skin.

Your Treatment

LED Therapy harnesses the healing power of LED light to heal, restore, energise, and invigorate your skin. Professional, medical-grade LED light is absorbed readily by the skin, where it can provide several benefits depending on the wavelength (or colour) of light used.

Yellow Light is most commonly utilised for its anti-ageing benefits, which enhance cell functions and help promote the production of collagen. It also soothes the skin, but energises the mitochondria in the tissue. These are our cells’ energy powerhouses, which is why yellow LED light has a brightening, energising effect.

Red Light has been used for decades for its healing benefits, which have been utilised and studied extensively in contexts like sports injuries. Red LED can downregulate inflammation, reduce pain, and promote optimised tissue healing – ideal for post-clinical treatment, sensitive skin, or any skin needing repair.

Blue Light isn’t absorbed as deeply into the skin, but instead acts on the surface, reducing inflammation and destroying acne-causing bacteria.

Your Experience

LED treatments are fast and effective, lasting between 10 and 20 minutes. These can be added to existing facial services or as a stand-alone treatment. We generally recommend 1-2 sessions per week for a total of four to 8 weeks. The precise treatment plan will vary based on individual goals, skin conditions, and lifestyle factors.

Unsure of the right treatment for you?

Get your skin analysed with the SkinX.

While we can make fairly accurate judgements based on what we see, we won’t know what’s happening underneath the skin without the help of a skin analysis device. This technology allow us to take a look deep down below the surface to discover underlying issues before they occur.

We can examine your skin sebun and bacterial content, detect wrinkles that haven’t appeared yet, underlying inflammation, and more.

With a skin analysis, we can develop a personal skin treatment plan that will provide the best long-term skin health possible, and also track the results with you over time, so you can see first hand the progress we make on your skin.
